Shade map for day sessions
The roof stays open on clear days, and by early afternoon the south and west sides of Ashe and Armstrong are in shade while the north and east sides stay in the sun until late. Here is every section, so you can name your price for a seat you will actually enjoy at 2pm.
Evening sessions are not affected. Ratings are for a typical 11:30am to 6pm day session in early September; the first rows of "under roof" sections on the north and east can still catch sun.
