Terms of Service

Welcome to WantToBuyTix!

We're building a marketplace for real fans. Our goal is to be transparent and fair. These terms are here to protect both you and us.

About This Marketplace

WantToBuyTix is an independent secondary marketplace that connects fans who want to buy tickets with fans and sellers who have them. We are not a primary ticket seller, box office, venue, team, or event organizer, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any venue, team, performer, event, or official ticketing company. Any event names or venues are used only to describe the tickets available and remain the property of their respective owners.

Because this is a resale marketplace, prices are set by users, not by us. Buyers name the price they are willing to pay and sellers set their own prices, so a ticket may sell for above or below its original face value. Face value, where known, is shown for reference only.

All fees are shown before you commit. Buyers pay the price they name plus any fee disclosed at checkout, and sellers pay a service fee of about 10%, shown before they accept. Every purchase is protected by escrow: your payment is held and released to the seller only after the tickets transfer to you and you confirm you received them. If valid tickets are not delivered, you are refunded in full. Only valid, transferable tickets may be listed, and transfers happen on the official ticketing platform.

WantToBuyTix is operated by Mazliah Analytics LLC. Questions? Reach us at admin@wanttobuytix.com.

The Short Version

Be a good person. Don't try to game the system, sell fake tickets, or do anything illegal. We are a marketplace to connect buyers and sellers, and we are not responsible for the tickets themselves. Use our platform at your own risk. We can terminate accounts of anyone who abuses the system.

Offers, Payments, and Escrow

When you post a buy offer and add a card on file, you authorize us to charge that card if a seller provides the exact tickets you requested (same event, zone, and quantity). An offer is a commitment, not a placeholder: sellers rely on it and spend real time and money preparing ticket transfers, so please keep an offer active only if you still intend to buy. Your payment is held in escrow and released to the seller only after you confirm you received your tickets. If a seller does not deliver the tickets you paid for, you are refunded in full. That is what the escrow protects.

Cancellations and Refunds

You can remove an active offer at any time before it is matched to a seller, and you will not be charged. If you cancel after a seller has already been matched to your offer or has begun transferring tickets, a cancellation fee of up to 5% of the order total may apply, and payment-processing fees are non-refundable. This covers the non-refundable cost of processing your payment and the seller's wasted effort. We review cancellation requests case by case and will always try to be fair.

For Sellers

When you respond to a buy offer, you are committing to transfer the exact tickets within 2 hours of the buyer's payment (30 minutes on the day of the event; payments between 10 PM and 8 AM Eastern start the clock at 8 AM). You may request one extra hour, except on the day of the event. If the tickets are not transferred in time, the deal is cancelled, the buyer is refunded in full, and the missed deadline is recorded on your account. Two missed deadlines pause your ability to sell into buy offers. The buyer's payment is secured in escrow before you transfer, and it is released to you once the buyer confirms they received the tickets, which we ask them to do within 1 to 2 hours.

You stay in control of your tickets the whole way. If a buyer backs out before accepting your transfer, you should cancel the transfer on the official ticket platform (like Ticketmaster) and the tickets are returned to your account, yours to keep or sell to another buyer. In that case the sale doesn't complete and no payout is made, but you keep your tickets and stay in control of them. If a buyer disputes a transfer they already accepted, contact us and we'll help resolve it.
