We collect the information needed to operate our marketplace: your email address and account details when you sign up, the details of the offers, listings, and auctions you post, and the messages you send us. When you buy or sell, we collect the transaction details and, for sellers, the information needed to pay you out. Payment card details are collected and processed by our payment provider (Stripe) and are never stored on our servers. We also collect basic device and usage information automatically to keep the service secure and understand how it is used.

How We Use It

We use your information to run the marketplace: to connect buyers and sellers, process and protect transactions through escrow, notify you about your offers and deals, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve the service. We may send you emails about your account and, if you have not opted out, occasional updates about the service. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the link in any such email.

Who We Share It With

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the platform, and only as needed for them to do so: payment processing (Stripe), email delivery, cloud hosting and database, and analytics. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety and rights of our users. Buyers and sellers see only the limited information needed to complete a deal.

Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, understand how the site is used, and measure the performance of our advertising, including through third-party tools such as the Meta (Facebook) pixel. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings.

Your Choices and Rights

You can access, correct, or delete your personal information, and you can request that we delete your account, by contacting us at admin@wanttobuytix.com. We will respond in line with applicable privacy laws. You can also opt out of marketing emails at any time.

Data Retention and Security

We keep your information only as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, and all payment processing is handled by a secure third-party provider, so we never store your card details.
