Price trends
We read the resale market for every Chicago Bears game on WantToBuyTix through the weeks before it: how many seats are listed and what a pair costs in each level, fees included. An upcoming game shows the trend so far; a past one keeps the record. Asking prices, not sales.

Lined up by hours to kickoff. Going rate = the 3rd-cheapest pair, all-in. With all levels on, the price line is Upper End Zone, the cheapest level; tap a level to see its own seats and price. Asking prices, not sales.
For the NFL games we have tracked, asking prices usually peak two to three weeks out and fall through the final week, often 20% or more from a week before kickoff to the day before. Waiting has favored buyers; sellers have done better early.
Either way, the price you would pay is worth posting: a season ticket holder who cannot go sees it and can sell into it, and you pay nothing unless one accepts. Name your price for a game.
